57 Forum Intro

The 57 Forum is a space for feed-back & community exchange, with both public & private areas. We are pleased to relaunch this service with just a few suggestive catagories - including the Commentary - with which we hope people engage - plus areas for people to post poems & event details

The Forum provides a chat-room - feeding out of/feeding back or simply for putting in requests for the jukebox or iPoems. It's a space where people can openly post & swap comments, & also provides secure areas reserved for participants in our programme, for example, in the poetry jukebox virtual workshop programme outlined below

As part of the poetry jukebox tour - as an experiment - 57 Productions organised a series of virtual workshops – available to 4 groups of 6 people from the different regions the tour took in

These workshops involved sessions wherein known & new writers interacted using new technology to produce new work – both in real-time (including through streaming video conferencing facilities) & in their own-time, virtually

The sessions took place over a 2 month period – & involved the use of interactive multi-media applications – both visual & audio. The processes through which the participants moved & their productions - go some way to suggesting the possibilities here
