iPoems presents new recordings in both streaming & downloadable MP3 format – alongside 57's original & popular back-catalogue – featuring over 1001 MP3s from over 50 poets - plus special Flash-Poetry animations. The iPoems system can be used in 2 different ways

1. Anyone can use the iPoems download system
simply by registering with 57 & browsing the content, highlighting an item (or several items) & using our safe & simple purchasing system (powered through WorldPay, The Royal Bank of Scotland) - @ 50p for an audio-file & £1.50 for an audio-visual file

2. By registering for our streaming service you can enjoy unlimited access to all areas - that is virtually all of 57's catalogue! You will also be able to download any item to your computer, pod or mobile - as above. The first month is FREE - after which subscriptions are £15 per annum

An automatic international currency exchange system is also installed

Institutions (for e.g. libraries, universities & schools) can register similarly & then contact 57 to complete the activation of their account

iPoems - Audio

iPoems features content exclusive to 57 – including artists such as John Hegley, Jean ‘Binta’ Breeze, Benjamin Zephaniah, Adrian Mitchell, Zena Edwards & Michael Rosen, plus new & rare recordings by, for example, Christopher Logue, Liz Lochhead & Kamau Brathwaite - who premiers a sequence of entirely new recordings entitled PRAISE POEMS - along-side previously unheard works from a host of writers & performers including extant material only available to 57

57 also proudly announces 22 poems by the late Michael Donaghy - recorded with Michael in 2003

iPoems has also recently premiered a wealth of brand-new audio selections from – Iain Sinclair, Clare Pollard, Paul Farley & Billy Childish – all recorded this Summer - & soon to follow - work from sessions with Shamshad Khan, Paul Lyalls, Mark Gwynne Jones & Jacob Sam-La Rose - spreading the word through performance – plus recordings from special sessions with Lorna Goodison, John Hartley Williams, Jane Draycott, Cecil Rajendra & Patience Agbabi – with more t.b.a.
